Wellcraft Music is pleased to announce the latest with our new “mix in the box” room. Adding a second mix room will allow us to have multiple projects on the go without the constant re-patching to mix mode. The new room “Howie's Room” will feature a Power Mac -Octo- Core 2.6 full with 32 channels of Euphonic Mix Control, with full moving fader automation. It also features a Quad Universal Audio Card with all plug-in authorizations. The room features Event 20/20 monitors powered by a Bryston 3B. “Howie's Room” will be digitally connected to the existing control room as well as the recording floor. Projects can now be recorded & mixed on either mix platform. While we believe a mix fusing analog with digital still offers a sonically better product, a mix in the box room will provide the ability for us to revisit total recall mixes & the ability to constantly adjust the mix until the artist & producer are happy.
In addition to "Howie's Room", we are happy to add a commitment to web design & hosting. Another “monster” Mac partnered with Adobe Creative Suite, offers the artists working with Wellcraft Music access to full web site & album design. Artists featured on the Wellcraft Music website are offered full creative & web support.
WELLCRAFT MUSIC WELCOMES ORIN ISAACS
Orin Isaacs, famed music producer (The Mike Bollard Show, Canadian Idol, Project Runway Canada, Hockey Night In Canada) teams up with Jim Hopson to co-produce the debut album from Michelle Park. Featuring some of the industries biggest talents, this project is sure to make an enormous impact. |

COLFAX ... Colfax are
a new and exciting band from Brockville, Ontario who came
together late in 2008; purveyors of energetic, powerful, and
hand-clapping music, their live shows leave their audiences
cheering for more. Fun pop-punk meets pop-rock. The boys are currently touring across Canada, gathering a HUGE fanbase as they go! They return to the studio this month to lay down a 3-song project View

VIVA MARS ... Band based out of Oshawa, Ontario. The band met in high school and have been playing together since June of 2007. They’ve created a unique sound, mixing indie, rock, folk, reggae, acoustic, ska, and alternative influences. These guys really know how to write! Having already recorded 3-songs with Wellcraft Music, they come back into the studio this month to add another three! View

MARTIN ALEX AUCOIN ... A new
jazz/blues artist has just completed his debut album at Wellcraft
music. Hardly a rookie, Martin has played on dozens of albums
as a keyboard session player. This is a self-produced effort
with all original material (9 vocals & 2 instrumentals)
with Jim Hopson at the control board. Featuring some of Canada’s
best jazz musicians including Alex Dean, Steve McDade, Victor
Bateman and Al Cross, it walks the jazz/blues line with honest
lyrics and great jazz solos by all involved. View
